Our 2017 Doll, Bear & Toy Show – Including Our Special Izannah Walker Exhibit

All of the members of the Jenny Lind Doll Club would like to thank our fabulous, hard working dealers who helped to make Sunday’s show a huge success! They went above and beyond, enduring pouring rain during their move-in and move-out, and those that spent Sunday night at the Wyndham also had to deal with a power outage! So a large and lengthy round of applause for all of our 2017 dealers!!

The Jenny Lind Doll Club would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the owners of all the Izannah Walker dolls that were on loan for our very special exhibit! You made our 30th show one to remember! What a glorious way to celebrate Izannah Walker’s 200th birthday! We greatly appreciate your generosity and the time and effort you put into getting your dolls to the exhibit.  Additionally, we’d like to acknowledge the former members of the Jenny Lind Doll Club, who throughout our 79 year history, have loved and cherished the Izannah Walker dolls in their own collections.

Last, but certainly not least, thank you to everyone who came to our 2017 show!!!

  1. I thank the ladies of the Jenny Lind doll club for allowing us to see the pictures of their 30th annual show. What a pleasure to have been able to find delight in the many treasures seen in the pictures. It is good to see that there is an appreciation for remembrances of times past, and the skills and patience of the makers of these long treasured dolls, clothes and accoutrements.
